Bruno Pacheco: In a Flash

Join artist Bruno Pacheco and writer Jennifer Higgie in conversation to mark the launch of the monograph ‘Bruno Pacheco: In A Flash’, published by Koenig Books. The publication spans ten years of the artist’s practice, and includes newly commissioned texts by Jennifer Higgie, Barry Schwabsky and an interview between Pacheco and Anthony Spira.

Jennifer Higgie is an Australian writer and former editor of frieze magazine who lives in London. Her recent books include The Other Side: A Story of Women, Art and the Spirit World (2023) and *The Mirror and the Palette: Rebellion, Revolution and Resilience: 500 Years of women’s self-portraits (*2021). She was the guest curator of the 2023 exhibition Thin Skin at Monash University Art Museum in Melbourne and is the host of the National Gallery of Australia’s new podcast, Artist’s Artists.

Bruno Pacheco lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal and London, UK. He has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally including solo exhibitions at Hollybush Gardens, London, Pedro Cera, Lisbon, Ampersand, Lisbon and Culturgest, Porto. His work has been exhibited in group exhibitions including Frac Nouvelle-Aquitaine MÉCA, Bordeaux, Centro Botín, Santander, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, Sharjah Biennial 14 and Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon. https://hollybushgardens.co.uk/artists/bruno-pacheco/
